Hello friends! Welcome back! Today I wanted to speak with you again about the Gut Health Storylines app. My last review of the app I explained how it can benefit patients to use this app as it pertains to self care.

Today’s post is a little different… Today I would like to give you a little more detail about the app and it’s features.
Gut Health Storylines
So what is Gut Health Storylines? Well in short this app can help patients (especially patients with IBD and other conditions affecting the bowels) to track symptoms, medications, appointments and more! In full, here is a description of how the Self Fare Catalysts describe what this app can do for you!
As I mentioned in my last post, I would highly recommend this app for patients with any kind of bowel issues. I only post products and things (to my blog) if I’ve personally tried them and have found it beneficial (for myself) and/or think it would benefit my followers.
Some of my favorite features
Okay so let’s dive right in, shall we? My number ONE favorite feature of the Gut Health Storylines app is of course… the medication tracker! I recently posted an article called, The “I Just Want To Be Normal Blues” where I mentioned how tired I was of taking medications (along with many other things). It’s not the physical aspect of taking the medication that’s daunting to me I mean really it takes no effort at all. It’s everything that comes with it. First, having to remember to take it in the first place! It’s such a hassle. I mean I work full time, I am a student, a girlfriend and much more! I don’t always remember what time to take my medication if at all. – But that’s where GUT has me covered.
In the app, I simply enter the medication I am taking, the dosage and how often and bam. I can enter the time of the day/night in which I want/need to take my RX and Gut sends me a little notification as a reminder.
– You can also enter notes as needed.
My next favorite feature is pretty simple but very helpful. The appointment calendar. For upcoming appointments you can store them anywhere on your phone which is cool, but what if you need to backtrack? I like that I can log appointments into my app and even track the type of appointment, whether it’s a new patient, follow up, ect. I can also log what I need to bring to my appointment as well – which is so important because I’ll never remember on my own.
There’s sooo much you can do with this app. These are just a few things I thought my followers would enjoy.
If you haven’t gotten to experience this helpful app yet, you can download it here: Gut Health Storylines.
