Popcorn and Snacks with Vitamins

I absolutely love snacking. Everyone knows this! When a rep with VitaPOP reached out I was more than excited to try a product that is not only yummy, but a bit healthy too. Contrary to popular belief, there are people with IBD who actually do eat popcorn! I stopped for a while When I Had My Ostomy, but of course I came back with a vengeance !

VitaPop Popcorn

VitaPOP was created by two women, one of whom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and sought to increase her vitamin intake. I love being able to not only support small businesses, but also those of people who also live with chronic conditions and can relate to the day to day struggles of myself. I was unable to find a solid (current) statistic, but a great deal of people live with vitamin deficiency.

VitaPop Popcorn

VitaPOP is infused with over 15 essential vitamins and 10 grams of protein. The product is also vegan and non GMO. I really enjoyed VitaPop. I found it to be soft and tasty! I didn’t need to add any flavor or seasoning. The product came ready to eat! The only thing I didn’t love about the product was the somewhat odd or tangy taste I’d get in my mouth when I ate too many. Easy fix? I’d suggest not eating too many in one sitting.

Overall I’d give this product a 9 out of 10. It’s yummy and I love that it’s infused with vitamins I need. If you’re interested in learning more or purchasing your own click here.

Though mostly about IBD, this blog covers a wide array of issues.  Shawn covers complex issues, like how her identity as an African American intersects with her IBD.  I am taken aback by the depth of each post! Whether you’re a blogger or an IBDer, her posts are sure to offer tons of inspiration.
